We use some of their selections during wedding ceremonies, and the arrangements are always a hit – most featured piano and strings, although it’s not uncommon to hear a flute, harp or other instrument in the mix, too. I’ve had an outstanding February so far, especially in the past week. I’ve met some wonderful prospective clients, did a fabulous corporate event, my monthly church dance, and had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner with my wife. I’ve also been preparing for this Sunday’s bridal show at Rachel’s Lakeside. It features a best-of-the-best assortment of vendors, including some of Southeastern Massachusetts’ favorite photographers, videographers, limousine companies, cake makers and florists. If you rarely get a chance to attend bridal shows, this is one that should be on your must-do list.
I’ll be set up in Rachel’s Bellagio room, handling announcements for the show and giving away a number of great prizes. The show starts at noon; Rachel’s Lakeside is located at 950 State Road in Dartmouth MA.
I received word earlier today that I was selected to receive the 2009 WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Award. I know that many of my clients have reviewed my services on the WeddingWire website, so I’m thrilled to be recognized. The Bride’s Choice Awards recognizes and honors wedding vendors from the WeddingWire Network who demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company sponsoring the competition, Bride’s Choice Award winners are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds through surveys and reviews.
I’m really looking forward to my next bridal show; I’ll be exhibiting at the New Beginnings Bridal Showcase on February 8th at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield. This is a brand-new show, with more than 50 of the top wedding vendors participating. In addition to offering great prizes (including THREE different vacation packages, New Beginnings Bridal Showcase will be featuring a multimedia fashion show hosted by Kiss 108‘s Billy Costa. This should definitely be a fun afternoon.
